We are so blessed to be able to shoot bridal fashion films in incredible places all around the world and Chateau Vaux le Vicomte is no exception. Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte bridal fashion video.

We have filmed many weddings here for some amazing Saudi, American, and English clients and this Bridal fashion video shoot was just as fun to create. Christopher decided to direct this film with a very high fashion-forward approach and less “weddingy” style. With Oscar De La Renta providing gowns as well as Top Bridal Paris, we had some very creative fashion looks to work with.

Majestically laid out along a four-kilometer axis, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte surges from a series of planes like a theatre set.  The outbuildings, in its forecourt, guide the eye past tall gates (innovation for the period) to the façade, as if at the center of a “mise-en-scène.” One can spot the gardens on either side, arranged in vast terraces that follow the natural slope of the land.

The great axis dominates every aspect of this composition, cleverly balanced at times to mask asymmetries.  It creates a sense of transparency, passing through the château’s entrance hall and Grand Salon, so that the statue of “Hercules at Rest,” can be glimpsed two kilometers further south.
