When Rochelle and Alexis decided to say “I do,” they knew their wedding needed to be as unique and unforgettable as their love story. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean at the iconic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France, their two-day wedding celebration planned and designed by Califano Events was nothing short of magical.

Planned by world renowned and spectacularly talented Jamie Mangan of Califano Events, this wedding astonished all the guests involved by the amazing design, decor and guests services. Witnessing the behind the scenes of this mega event, I could clearly see the heart, drive and passion Califano Events has for events of this size and calibre.
Day 1: A Celebration of Friendship and Fun
The first day of the celebration set the tone for the entire wedding weekend, beginning with two unforgettable pre-wedding events. The groom and his groomsmen kicked things off with a friendly tennis tournament on the hotel’s renowned courts. Laughter and some light-hearted and serious competition filled the air, all while taking in the stunning views of the French Riviera.
Meanwhile, the bridesmaids and Rochelle enjoyed a relaxed bridal shower lunch, filled with gifts, games, and endless champagne. The atmosphere was one of joy and excitement as the bride-to-be shared stories and laughter with her closest friends before the big day.
As the sun began to set, the group gathered for an outdoor welcome event like no other. The venue, set under the stars with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, came alive with the sounds of a live band from ALR Music. Guests mingled, enjoying delicious cocktails and exquisite food, while Rochelle’s sister delivered a heartfelt and emotional speech that touched everyone in attendance.
Day 2: A Spectacular Wedding Day to Remember
The wedding day itself was nothing short of breathtaking. From the stunning ceremony to the lively reception and unforgettable party, every moment was filled with beauty and joy.
The Ceremony: A Breathtaking Vow Exchange
Rochelle and Alexis exchanged vows overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in a ceremony that was equal parts elegant and emotional. The setting was nothing short of spectacular, with the sun shining over the breathtaking views of the Riviera. The reception was hosted in an elegant, London private-club style setting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with impeccable food, exceptional wine, and lively conversation. Guests enjoyed an evening of delicious cuisine, accompanied by fine wine, while celebrating the couple’s love and the start of their new chapter together.
The Party: Dancing the Night Away
As the night progressed, anticipation grew for the grand reveal of the secret stage. When it was unveiled, the atmosphere turned electric as an incredible band took the stage and got everyone on their feet. The music filled the air, and guests danced the night away in celebration of Rochelle and Alexis’ love.
The afterparty kicked off with more cocktails and non-stop dancing, with guests enjoying the celebration well into the early hours of the morning. The energy was infectious, and it was clear that this was a wedding everyone would remember for years to come.
